Abstract

trata-se de um casco para uma plataforma de turbina eólica semissubmersível com capacidade para flutuar sobre um corpo de água e sustentar uma turbina eólica que inclui uma abóbada e pelo menos três vigas de fundo que se estendem radialmente para fora da abóbada. cada viga de fundo tem uma porção de viga primária e uma porção de base de coluna, em que a porção de base de coluna é configurada para sustentar uma coluna externa do casco na mesma, e em que a porção de viga primária define um primeiro compartimento de lastro na mesma. o primeiro compartimento de lastro está em comunicação fluida com a água no corpo de água no qual o casco flutua.
