Abstract

a presente invenção se refere a métodos para prever um risco de deterioração cognitiva, monitorar a progressão da deterioração cognitiva e diagnosticar a deterioração cognitiva em um paciente. a presente inveção ainda se refere a métodos para diminuir a velocidade de progressão da deterioração cognitiva em um paciente, reduzindo os níveis de ferro cerebral no paciente ou diminuindo os níveis de ferritina do cfs no paciente.
