Abstract
um processo para realizar uma reação em uma coluna de reação, dito processo compreendendo: fornecer um primeiro reagente à coluna de reação na fase líquida; contactar dito primeiro reagente com um excesso de um segundo reagente de maneira tal que a reação tem lugar dentro da coluna de reação para formar um produto de baixo ponto de ebulição e um produto de alto ponto de ebulição, pelo menos uma porção de dito segundo reagente sendo fornecida à coluna de reação na fase vapor; recuperar uma corrente superior a partir, ou perto, do topo da coluna de reação, dita corrente superior compreendendo segundo reagente não reagido e o produto de baixo ponto de ebulição; e recuperar uma corrente inferior a partir, ou perto, do fundo da coluna de reação compreendendo o produto de alto ponto de ebulição; em que pelo menos uma porção do calor necessário para vaporizar o segundo reagente fornecido à coluna de reação na fase vapor é fornecida por troca de calor em um trocador de calor com uma corrente quente gerada dentro do processo que não uma corrente quente gerada dentro da coluna de reação.
