Abstract

a invenção se refere a um dispositivo de encurvamento de folhas de vidro que compreende rolos de transporte que transportam as folhas de vidro umas atrás das outras em uma direção longitudinal e que as levam umas depois das outras sob uma forma superior de encurvamento e sobre uma superfície de recepção formada pelo nível superior dos rolos sob a forma superior de encurvamento, o dito dispositivo compreendendo um suporte intermediário que compreende uma pista de contato para sustentar a folha que se encontra sob a forma superior de encurvamento dita folha a prensar, a dita pista de contato tendo, paralelamente à borda da folha a prensar, uma curvatura menos acentuada do que aquela que deve ser dada pela forma superior, o dito suporte intermediário podendo subir acima da superfície de recepção e sustentar a folha a prensar até a perda do contato da folha com os rolos, o dito suporte intermediário podendo descer abaixo da superfície de recepção, um meio de prensagem da folha podendo prensar a periferia da folha contra a forma superior de encurvamento. a invenção também se refere a um processo de encurvamento de folhas de vidro pelo dispositivo.
