Abstract
um método de soldagem ultrassônica que inclui as etapas de: preparar pelo menos dois membros feitos de material termoplástico, dispor os mesmos com respectivas regiões de conexão mutuamente adjacentes de uma maneira substancialmente combinada; transmitir um feixe ultrassônico para pelo menos um dos membros nas regiões de conexão; simultaneamente com a transmissão ultrassônica, aplicar uma pressão aos membros, pressionando os mesmos um contra o outro a fim de conservar as regiões de conexão em contato mútuo. a particularidade da presente invenção reside em que as regiões de conexão incluem porções curvilíneas que se combinam mutuamente e em que, antes da preparação dos membros, as respectivas superfícies de soldagem mutuamente combinadas são definidas nos membros; tais superfícies de soldagem mutuamente combinadas fazem as porções curvilíneas pelo menos parcialmente discretas. a invenção também se relaciona a um produto manufaturado com o método.
