Abstract
PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA A DESIDRATAÇÃO DE ETANOL. A presente invenção proporciona um processo para a preparação de eteno por desidratação química em fase de vapor de etanol utilizando um reator adiabático, em que o interior do reator adiabático é separado em pelo menos três zonas de reação, compreendendo uma primeira zona de reação, pelo menos uma zona de reação intermédia e uma zona de reação final, e em que cada zona contém um catalisador de desidratação de etanol; o referido processo compreendendo as etapas de; a) alimentar uma corrente de alimentação de reagente préaquecida para uma entrada da primeira zona de reação; b) extrair uma corrente de efluente a partir de uma saída da primeira zona de reação; c) alimentar a referida corrente de efluente para uma entrada de uma zona de reação intermediária subsequente; d) extrair uma corrente de efluente a partir de uma saída da zona de reação intermediária; e) repetir as etapas (c) e (d) para quaisquer zonas de reação intermédia subsequentes, se presentes; f) alimentar, em uma entrada da zona de reação final, da corrente de efluente da zona de reação intermediária anterior; g) extrair uma corrente de produto de uma saída da zona de reação final; em que as correntes de efluentes são reaquecidas antes de serem alimentadas em uma zona de reação subsequente por meio de um ou mais trocadores de calor; e em que um único trocador de calor reaquece simultaneamente pelo menos duas das correntes de efluente, de modo que não exista mais de um trocador de calor para cada duas correntes de efluentes que são reaquecidas no processo.
