Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un proceso para la preparación de eteno mediante deshidratación química de fase de vapor de etanol que usa un reactor adiabático, en donde el interior del reactor adiabático está separado en al menos tres zonas de reacción, que comprenden una primera zona de reacción, al menos una zona de reacción intermedia y una zona de reacción final y en donde cada zona contiene un catalizador de deshidratación de etanol, dicho proceso comprende los pasos de: a) alimentar una corriente de alimentación de reactivo precalentada en una entrada de la primera zona de reacción; b) extraer una corriente de efluente desde una salida de la primera zona de reacción; c) alimentar dicha corriente de efluente hacia una entrada de una zona de reacción intermedia subsecuente; d) extraer una corriente de efluente desde una salida de la zona de reacción intermedia; e) repetir los pasos (c) y (d) para cualquier zona de reacción intermedia subsecuente, si está presente; f) alimentar, hacia una entrada de la zona de reacción intermedia; g) extraer una corriente de producto desde una salida de la zona de reacción final; en donde las corrientes de efluente son recalentadas antes de ser alimentadas a una zona de reacción subsecuentemente por medio de uno más intercambiadores de calor y; en donde un solo intercambiador de calor recalienta de manera simultánea al menos dos de las corrientes de efluente, de manera que no más de un intercambiador de calor está presente para cada dos corrientes de efluente que son recalentadas en el proceso.
