a presente invenção se refere a: espuma de poliuretano rígida, que é um produto de polimerização de uma composição que contém lignina de ácido forte, poliol e isocianato; e um método para preparar a mesma. a espuma de poliuretano rígida pode ser preparada, em que a espuma de poliuretano rígida tem propriedades físicas excelentes e possibilita uma substituição de uma parte de polióis usando-se lignina, que é um material derivado de biomassa, sem modificação química adicional.
