Abstract
COMPOSIÇÃO DE POLÍMEROS E USO DE ÉSTERES ALIFÁTICOS COMO PLASTIFICANTES. Essa invenção refere-se ao uso de uma composição de ésteres alifáticos que possuem a seguinte fórmula geral: R1-O-C(O)-R4-C(O)-[-O-R2-O-C(O)-R5-C(O)-]m-O-R3 na qual R1 é selecionado de entre um ou mais dos grupos que consistem em H, resíduos alquil insaturados e saturados ramificados e lineares do tipo C1-C24, e os resíduos de poliol esterificados com ácidos monocarboxílicos C1-C24; R2 compreende grupos -CH2-C(CH3)2-CH2 - e alquileno C2-C8, e compreende pelo menos 50% em moles dos referidos grupos -CH2-C(CH3)2-CH2-; R3 é selecionado de entre um ou mais dos grupos que consistem em H, resíduos alquil insaturados e saturados ramificados e lineares do tipo C1-C24, e os resíduos de poliol esterificados com ácidos monocarboxílicos C1-C24; R4 e R5 incluem um ou mais alquilenos C2-C22 e compreendem pelo menos 50% em moles de alquilenos C7; m está compreendido entre 1 e 20, como plastificantes para composições de polímeros termoplásticos. Estes ésteres são particularmente adequados para utilização como plastificantes para vários tipos de polímeros, tais como, por exemplo, polímeros de vinila do tipo cloreto de polivinila (PVC), elastômeros termoplásticos, poliésteres de ácido hidróxi, por exemplo, poliésteres de ácido lático.
