Abstract

MÉTODO PARA MODULAÇÃO DO CRESCIMENTO DE PLANTAS. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a modulação do crescimento de plantas sem raiz de uma planta que utiliza peptídeos reguladores, nucleotídeos codificantes dos mesmos, receptores dos mesmos, agentes de ligação aos mesmos ou agonistas ou antagonistas dos mesmos. Esses métodos abrangem os métodos para aumentar o crescimento do broto ou para acelerar o desenvolvimento dos brotos das plantas, pelo qual as referidas plantas: produzem uma maior quantidade da matéria de plantas acima do solo do que uma planta não tratada ou do tipo selvagem cultivada sob as mesmas condições; crescem mais rápido do que uma planta não tratada ou do tipo selvagem sob as mesmas condições; se desenvolvem mais rápido do que uma planta não tratada ou do tipo selvagem sob as mesmas condições. Os métodos encontram aplicação específica, em que as condições compreendem condições de estresse e, em particular, condições de estresse abiótico, que podem ser selecionadas dentre os estresses de maior salinidade, seca, limitação de nitrogênio e pH.
