Abstract
a presente invenção se refere a um pistão (10) para um motor de combustão interna que possui superfícies de suporte discretas, cilíndricas (18, 24) para suporte de um pino de pistão, em que entre pelo menos duas superfícies de suporte (18, 24) é proporcionado um recesso (26) que possui uma profundidade radial de pelo menos 10 % de metade da distância entre duas superfícies de suporte opostas. em concordância com a presente invenção, uma superfície de suporte (24) posicionada mais próxima para uma zona de anel (12) cobre um maior ângulo, em particular de 120º até 180º, preferivelmente de 150º até 170º, na direção circunferencial do pino de pistão do que uma superfície de suporte oposta (18) que preferivelmente possui um ângulo de aproximadamente 40º até 90º, e em particular aproximadamente de 60º.
