Abstract

MÉTODO E SISTEMA DE TRATAMENTO DE RESÍDUO DE COMBUSTÃO DE CARVÃO E CARBONO ATIVADO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para tratar carvão ativado em pó (PAC) e/ou resíduos de combustão de carvão (CCRs) aquecendo pelo menos um dentre um PAC e/ou um CCR gasto para separar pelo menos um metal pesado a partir do pelo menos um dentre o PAC e/ou o CCR gasto para criar um fluxo limpo e um fluxo de metal pesado, combinando o fluxo de metal pesado com um sulfeto de metal alcalinoterroso solúvel em água para criar um fluxo combinado e remover pelo menos uma porção do pelo menos um metal pesado do fluxo combinado. Adicionalmente, o aquecimento pode incluir aquecer o pelo menos um dentre o PAC e/ou o CCR gasto em uma atmosfera inerte. Adicionalmente, a combinação pode incluir combinar o fluxo de metal pesado com o sulfeto de metal alcalinoterroso solúvel em água e um catalisador e/ou um tensoativo ou hiperdispersante.
