Abstract

LAMINADO DE VIDRO COMPÓSITO E MÉTODO PARA PROCESSAMENTO DO MESMO. A presente invenção refere-se a um laminado de vidro compósito sob a forma de uma manta de comprimento indefinido tendo uma camada de vidro e uma camada de reforço e com a espessura da camada de reforço escolhida de modo que a superfície neutra em relação à flexão da manta de laminado de vidro compósito não está apoiada na camada de vidro. É revelado também um método de processamento de manta de laminado de vidro compósito de modo que ela possa ser manuseada sem ser flexionada de forma a colocar a camada de vidro sob tensão devido aos estresses de flexão. A manta de laminado de vidro compósito é convenientemente fornecida como um rolo onde a camada de reforço forma a superfície externa do rolo e a camada de vidro forma a superfície interna do rolo.
