Abstract

ADESIVO ESTRUTURAL TERMOCURÁVEL E MÉTODO PARA UNIR UM MEMBRO DE ALUMÍNIO A UM SEGUNDO MEMBRO METÁLICO. Um adesivo estrutural termocurável inclui uma resina epoxi não modificada com borracha, um produto de reação de polímero ou copolímero de butadieno com terminação carboxila ou amina, e uma resina epoxi à base de bisfenol F, um enrijecedor elastomérico contendo grupos isocianato capeados, um ou mais agentes de cura epoxi, um eliminador de umidade e um catalisador termoativável compreendendo uma mistura de um composto sólido ou líquido de amina terciária que tem uma temperatura de ebulição de pelo menos 130ºC e uma resina novolac. O adesivo estrutural desenvolve excelentes propriedades de ligação quando curado a temperaturas moderadas, especialmente de 120 a 170ºC, e, além disso, tem desempenho muito bom no teste de envelhecimento ambiental sob tensão. O adesivo é particularmente bom para ligar alumínio a outro metal, ou para ligar alumínio a alumínio.
