resumo patente de invenção: "tratamento de superfície de uma peça metálica". a presente invenção refere-se o processo de tratamento de superfície de uma peça metálica comporta: exposição de uma superfície da peça metálica (1) a um fluxo de partículas sensivelmente esféricas, de maneira que qualquer parte dessa superfície receba essas partículas segundo primeiras incidências primárias, as incidências primárias das partículas sobre uma parte da superfície sendo essencialmente distribuídas em um cone ou uma película cônica que apresenta um semiângulo externo com vértices compreendidos entre 10° e 45°, até a obtenção de uma camada surfácica (3) de nanoestruturas, apresentando uma espessura média de várias dezenas de mícrons, as partículas apresentando um diâmetro inferior a 2 mm e superior a 0,1 mm e sendo projetadas a uma velocidade compreendida entre 40 m/s e 100 m/s. um tratamento termoquímico é em seguida aplicado, notadamente um tratamento à baixa temperatura do tipo nitretação ou à alta temperatura do tipo carbonitretação à baixa pressão.
