Abstract

GERADOR DE VóRTICE PARA MELHORAR O DESEMPENHO DE ENTRADAS DE AR EMBUTIDAS Descreve-se um GV (gerador de vórtice) colocado na superfície de uma aeronave ou similar, à montante de uma entrada de ar embutida, para gerar vórtices que varrem a camada limite na frente da entrada induzindo um efeito de divergência de escoamento no escoamento de ar livre, tal GV consistindo em uma asa (1) paralela à superfície da aeronave ou similar, suportada por um suporte (2) ou um par de suportes (2) como aletas, dispostos em ângulo divergente; o CV melhora consideravelmente a relação de recuperação de pressão total e a relação de vazão de massa da entrada pois exerce um efeito de redução de espessura da camada limite, reduzindo o nível de distorção do escoamento na entrada, à medida em que esta ingere mais escoamento de ar livre e os vórtices não são ingeridos pela entrada.
