Abstract

método e sistema para cultivo de microalgas em um reator de fluxo de tampão expandido. um método e sistema são fornecidos para suportar o crescimento de células de algas, no método, um inoculador de células de algas é cultivado em um bioreator fechado, depois disto, o inoculador de células de alfas é passado dentro de um sistema aberto. especificamente, o inoculador é passado dentro de um reator de fluxo de tampão expandido (epfr) tendo uma largura crescente a de sua primeira para sua segunda extremidade. adicionalmente, o meio é introduzido no epfr para manter uma profundidade rasa selecionada. notavelmente, o meio fornece nutrientes suficientes para suportar um crescimento logarítmico das células de algas para manter uma alta concentração de células de algas, isto é, pelo menos 0,5 gramas por litro de meio, no epfr. depois que o nível desejado foi atingido, as células de algas são transferidas para um reator de fluxo de tampão padrão em que a produção de óleo é ativada nas células de algas.
