Abstract
método para controlar seletivamente a capacidade auto-vedante de uim pneu, e, pneu auto-vedante para rodas de veículo. a presente invenção se relaciona a um método de controlar seletivamente a capacidade auto-vedante de um pneu obtido por aplicação de uma unidade de vedação (12) em um tambor e formação subsequente no mesmo de um precursos de um pneu verde (1) incluindo revestimento base (9) e carcaça (2), seguido por confirmação, cura e moldagem. a unidade de vedação (12) compreende: uma película termoplástica de auto-sustentação de poliamida ou poliéster (11) e uma camada de material de vedação (10) possuindo características de viscoelasticidade e adesividade, que é associada com e sustentada pela dita película termoplástica de auto-sustentação (11). a unidade de vedação (12) é facilmente perfurável por um elemento pontiagudo enquanto ela mantém uma tal deformabilidade e adesividade que a ajuda na transferência do material de vedação durante a ejeção do elemento pontiagudo e limita a quantidade de material transferido a um tal grau que furos maiores do que um valor predeterminado não são vedados.
