Abstract
SISTEMA DE MONITORAMENTO E MÉTODO. Trata-se de um sistema e método de monitoramento que determinam uma métrica de consumo que representam um ou mais dentre uma quantidade de combustível consumido ou uma quantidade de energia consumida por um veículo durante o deslocamento através de uma rota. A métrica de consumo é independente de uma ou mais dentre carga de veículo ou alteração de elevação através da rota. O sistema e método podem determinar, opcionalmente, uma métrica de condição de rota que representa uma condição de uma rota através da qual um veículo se deslocou. A métrica de condição de rota se baseia em uma comparação entre um grau real da rota em uma ou mais localidades ao longo da rota e um grau estimado da rota nas uma ou mais localidades.
