composição aquosa de revestimento, método para formar um revestimento, e, método para melhorar a estabilidade ao congelamento/descongelamento de uma composição aquosa. provê-se uma composição aquosa de revestimento incluindo uma dispersão polimérica aquosa e de 0,1% a 40% em peso, com base no peso dos sólidos da dispersão polimérica aquosa, fenilfenol-(ch~ 2~ch~ 2~o)~ 2-50~h, isômeros dos mesmos, análogos substituídos no anel aromático dos mesmos, e misturas dos mesmos. também é provido um método para formar um revestimento a partir da mesma, um método para melhorar a estabilidade ao congelamento/descongelamento de um revestimento aquoso incluindo uma dispersão polimérica e usos alternativos para fenilfenol-(ch~ 2~ch~ 2~o)~ 2-50~h, isômeros dos mesmos, análogos substituídos no anel aromático dos mesmos, e misturas dos mesmos.
