Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA APAGAR INCêNDIOS EM NAVIOS QUE ARMAZENAM PRODUTOS INFLAMáVEIS". Um sistema de combate a incêndio para controlar o fogo em um contêiner de armazenamento de líquidos inflamáveis ou combustíveis composto de um aparato portátil de descarga e um aparato portátil de instalação; o aparato portátil de descarga recebe um agente de combate a incêndio de uma mangueira de suprimento e aplica o agente de combate a incêndio para controlar um incêndio em um contêiner de armazenamento; o aparato portátil de descarga pode estar ligado a uma extremidade distal do aparato portátil de instalação para que o aparato portátil de descarga possa ser montado em um contêiner de armazenamento; além disso, uma pluralidade aparatos portáteis de descarga pode ser montada em um contêiner único de armazenamento, usando o mesmo aparato portátil de instalação, para fornecer uma grande quantidade ou uma variedade de agentes de combate a incêndio ou para fornecer agentes de combate a incêndio em um local específico do contêiner de armazenamento; o aparato portátil de instalação pode ser estendido a uma variedade de comprimentos para que ele possa montar um aparato portátil de descarga em contêineres de armazenamento de uma variedade de tamanhos.
