Description
好ましくは、泡消火剤層で液体表面の少なくとも90%を覆った後及び/又はこのような状況下での少なくとも最低限の泡消火剤の層を作る等、このような状況下でかなりの時間、泡消火剤層を確立した後、最も好ましくは、泡消火剤を用いた消火活動についてNFPAが推奨する添加率/時間に関する手順ガイドラインの少なくとも3分の2を行った後に、泡消火剤層の上方であって屋根部の下方の空洞に粉末消火剤を放出する。好ましくは、泡消火剤を用いた消火活動に関してNFPAが推奨する添加率/時間に関する手順ガイドラインの最後の10分間内に粉末消火剤を放出する。粉末消火剤は、一般には、10から30秒間放出される。
Claims (16)
- タンクについての可燃性液体火災を取り扱う方法であって、前記タンクは屋根と、前記タンク内の液体上方であって前記屋根の下方における実質的に密閉された空間とを備え、前記可燃性液体は直鎖燃料を含み、
前記タンク内の前記液体表面の少なくとも90%を覆う泡消火剤/膜の層を確立し、
前記屋根と前記層との間の空間に前記液体からの蒸気が閉じ込められており、且つ、少なくとも前記タンクの通気口で燃焼が残っている状態において、前記屋根と前記層との間の前記空間に、乾燥粉末を放出し、放出され漂っている前記乾燥粉末を前記空間内の空気の移動とともに前記空間内を移動させ、前記通気口での炎を消火することを特徴とする方法。 - NFPAが規定する泡消火剤/膜の層の少なくとも3分の2を確立した後に、前記放出工程を行う請求項1に記載の方法。
- NFPAが規定した泡消火剤添加時間の最後の10分間内に前記放出が行われる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記放出に先立って、水霧により前記液面上方のタンク及び/又は屋根壁部を冷却することを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも有効な固定上部屋根部が装着された貯蔵タンク内の可燃性液体の火災を消火するための方法であって、前記可燃性液体は直鎖燃料を含み、
前記液体上方であって前記固定上部屋根部下方の空洞内に、泡消火剤を放出し、
前記泡消火剤による消火活動についてNFPAが推奨する添加率/時間の手順ガイドラインによる方法の少なくとも3分の2を行った後、前記液体上方であって前記固定上部屋根部下方の空洞に前記液体からの蒸気が閉じ込められており、且つ、少なくとも前記タンクの通気口で燃焼が残っている状態において、前記空洞内に、粉末消火剤を放出し、放出され漂っている前記粉末消火剤を前記空洞内の空気の移動とともに前記空洞内を移動させ、前記通気口での炎を消火することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記NFPAが推奨する添加率/時間の手順ガイドラインの最後の10分間内に粉末消火剤を放出する請求項5に記載の方法。
- 5から15秒間、粉末消火剤を放出する請求項5に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも40分間泡消火剤を添加した後に、粉末消火剤を放出する請求項5に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一つのタンク通気口を介して粉末消火剤を放出する請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記通気口は、眉型通気口である請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記通気口は、固定システムの泡消火剤及び/又は粉末消火剤通気口である請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記液体の上部にフロータを備え、前記泡消火剤及び粉末消火剤の放出は、前記フロータと前記固定上部屋根部との間に規定された空洞内への放出である請求項5に記載の方法。
- 屋根を有する工業用タンク内の火災を消火する方法であって、
前記タンク内の可燃性液体表面を泡消火剤の層で覆い、前記可燃性液体は直鎖燃料を含み、
前記タンク内の前記液体上に泡消火剤層を確立した後に、前記屋根下方であって前記泡消火剤層上方の空間に前記液体からの蒸気が閉じ込められており、且つ、前記タンク及び屋根の少なくとも一つにあけられた開口で少なくとも燃焼が残っている状態において、前記空間内に、前記タンク及び前記屋根の少なくとも一つに開けられた開口を通して粉末消火剤を放出し、放出され漂っている前記粉末消火剤を前記空間内の空気の移動とともに前記空間内を移動させ、前記開口での炎を消火することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記粉末消火剤の前記放出は、固定粉末消火剤システムを利用する請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記泡消火剤層の形成は、固定泡消火剤システムを利用する請求項13又は14に記載の方法。
- タンク壁及び/又は屋根表面の水による冷却を含む請求項13に記載の方法。
