Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE TITâNIA". A presente invenção se refere a um processo sulfato para a produção de titânia. O processo inclui a lixiviação de material titanífero e a produção de um licor de lixiviação, a separação do titanil sulfato a partir do licor de lixiviação, a hidrólise do extrato de titanil sulfato e a posterior calcinação da fase sólida produzida na etapa de hidrólise. O processo é caracterizado pela lixiviação em múltiplos estágios do material titanífero.
