"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA DETERMINAR SINCRONISMO LABIAL ENTRE áUDIO E VìDEO EM UM AMBIENTE DIGITALIZADO USANDO CáLCULO DE ARMAZENAMENTO PROVISóRIO". As modalidades reveladas dizem respeito a um sistema (23) e método (400) para manter sincronismo entre um sinal de vídeo (29) e um sinal de áudio (31) que são processados usando relógios que são travados. O sistema (23) pode compreender um componente (34) que determina pelo menos um nível inicial de um armazenamento provisório, um componente (34) que determina pelo menos um nível atual do armazenamento provisório, e um componente (34) que determina um valor de deriva, comparando o pelo menos um nível inicial do armazenamento provisório com o pelo menos um nível atual do armazenamento provisório, e ajusta os relógios de forma a manter o nível do ponto médio inicial do armazenamento provisório, se o valor de deriva atingir um nível limiar.
