A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho para o tratamento de um material sob condições pirolíticas, o aparelho compreendendo um alojamento para processar o material. A invenção é caracterizada pelo fato de que um parafuso de extrusão é provido ao alojamento. A invenção referese ainda a um processo para o tratamento de um material sob condições pirolíticas, e ao uso do aparelho e do processo.
