Abstract
"MéTODO PARA TRANSMITIR INFORMAçãO DIGITAL, TRANSMISSOR, MéTODO PARA RECEBER UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO, E, RECEPTOR PARA RECEBER UM SINAL DE INFORMAçãO". Um método para transmitir informação digital usa as etapas de codificar com correção de erro sem via de retorno (56) uma pluralidade de bits de informação digital (54) usando códigos convolucionais mapeados a padrão complementar, modular (62) uma pluralidade de sinais portadores com os bits codificados de correção de erro sem via de retorno, e transmitir (76) os sinais portadores modulados. A modulação pode incluir as etapas de codificar independentemente por deslocamento de amplitude os componentes em fase e quadratura da constelação de QAM usando códigos de Gray que correspondem a níveis de amplitude.
