Abstract
"MéTODOS E EQUIPAMENTOS PARA MEDIR FREQuêNCIA DE UMA ESTAçãO BASE EM REDES CELULARES UTILIZANDO RECEPTORES GPS MóVEIS". São descritos métodos e equipamentos para sincronização de estações base em um sistema de comunicação celular. Em um aspecto da invenção, um método para prever uma temporização ou timing de transmissão de uma estação base em um sistema de comunicação celular inclui: receber um primeiro tag de tempo para um primeiro marcador de timing em um primeiro sinal celular transmitido a partir da estação base; receber um segundo tag de tempo de um segundo marcador de timing em um segundo sinal celular transmitido a partir da estação base; e computar uma frequência relacionada à estação base usando os primeiro e segundo tags de tempo. Cada um dos tags de tempo é determinado usando-se pelo menos um sinal de sistema de posicionamento por satélite recebido em uma estação móvel que recebe o correspondente marcador de tempo.
