Abstract
"ESTRUTURA DE LIGAçãO DE UMA LUVA REFRATáRIA FIXADA à PARTE INTERNA DE UM BOCAL PARA LINGOTAMENTO CONTìNUO". Estrutura de ligação de uma luva refratária com o corpo de um bocal para lingotamento contínuo possuindo uma luva refratária contendo 20% em massa ou mais de CaO fixada à parte interna do corpo do mesmo para reduzir a aderência de alumina, onde um material adesivo compreendendo a mistura de um agregado refratário e um aglutinante é aplicado à face externa da luva, a uma parte ou a toda a superfície da parede interna do orifício no corpo do bocal na qual superfície a luva refratária é para ser fixada, ou a uma parte de junção formada entre a luva refratária inserida e a superfície da parede interna, sendo a porosidade do material adesivo após a secagem, ajustada de modo a ser de 15 a 90%. A estrutura de ligação permite o relaxamento das tensões térmicas devido à rápida dilatação que resulta do fluxo de aço em fusão para dentro do orifício interno durante a operação, o que resulta na prevenção de falhas da luva e o efeito adverso no corpo de um bocal devido à dilatação do mesmo.
