Abstract

"INTENSIFICAçãO DA TRASMISSãO DE CALOR EM COQUILHAS DE FUNDIçãO CONTìNUA". A presente invenção se refere a uma coquilha para a fundição contínua de metais fundidos, particularmente de aço, sendo que o lado da coquilha (2) que está afastado da superfície do contato com a massa fundida é dotado de canais de refrigeração (1), como ranhuras de refrigeração, A transmissão de calor da coquilha é melhorada ao se ajustar as configurações geométricas das regiões das superfícies de transmissão de calor de um canal de refrigeração (1) ou de um grupo de canais de refrigeração em termos de forma, área da seção transversal, perímetro, estrutura interfacial, orientação em relação à superfície de contato, disposição e/ou densidade da disposição em relação à superfície de contato, à configuração local da densidade da corrente térmica e/ou temperatura das superfícies de contato (18) durante o processo de fundição e, em particular, na região do menisco (11).
