Abstract

"CATALISADOR BASEADO EM FERRO, SUA PREPARAçãO E SEU USO EM UM PROCESSO DE DESIDROGENAçãO". Um catalisador que é baseado em um óxido de ferro e um composto de um lantanídeo, do qual pelo menos uma porção de óxido de ferro é feita por um processo que envolve decomposição por aquecimento de um haleto de ferro, o lantanídeo sendo em uma quantidade na faixa de 0,07 a 0,15 mol por mol de óxido de ferro presente no catalisador, calculada como Fe~ 2~0~ 3~; um processo para a preparação do catalisador; um processo para a desidrogenação de um composto alquilaromático cujo processo envolve contatar um mecanismo alimentador contendo o composto alquilaromático com o catalisador; e um método de usar um composto alquenilaromático para preparar polímeros ou copolímeros, em cujo método o composto alquenilaromático foi preparado pelo processo de desidrogenação.
