A presente invenção está relacionada a composições em emulsão para a partida do reformador de um sistema de célula de combustível. Em particular, a invenção inclui composições em emulsão compreendendo combustível de hidrocarboneto, água e tensoativos de alquil amina etoxilada, para a partida do reformador de um sistema de célula de combustível.
