Abstract

"INTEGRAçãO DE SENSORES INERCIAIS". Trata-se de um dispositivo de entrada e método para a geração de tinta eletrónica e/ou outras entradas. O dispositivo de entrada pode ser usado em combinação com qualquer superfície através do uso de uma técnica de percepção aperfeiçoada para a geração de dados para uso em aplicações relacionada a tinta e aplicações não relacionadas a tinta. A melhor percepção do movimento pode ser conseguida usando-se um ou mais sensores inerciais para detectar o movimento do dispositivo de entrada por meio da medição de indicadores tais como velocidade, aceleração, e mudanças nos campos eletromagnéticos. o dispositivo de entrada pode incluir uma memória, para o armazenamento de dados de movimento e um transceptor, para a transmissão de dados que representam o movimento do dispositivo, para um computador central. O processamento dos dados de movimento percebido para gerar imagens representativas de traços escritos a mão, também pode ser realizado usando um processador dentro do dispositivo de entrada. o dispositivo de entrada pode ter o formato de uma caneta e pode incluir um cartucho de tinta para facilitar o movimento do dispositivo de entrada de uma maneira familiar.
