Abstract

"MEIO DE FILTRAGEM". A presente invenção está relacionada a um meio de filtragem (10) que está adaptado para reter de maneira eficaz não apenas micropartículas mas também partículas na faixa dos nanometros. O meio da presente invenção consiste de pelo menos uma camada de material (20) e pelo menos uma camada de estrutura fina (30), através da qual são utilizadas a primeira camada de fibras de celulose preferencialmente interligadas e fibras de micro-vidro mas também fibras à base de polímero. O diâmetro das fibras da acamada de material (20) se encontra na faixa dos micrometros e os poros da referida camada apresentam em sua maioria diâmetros na faixa dos micrometros quadrados. A estrutura de fibras de peso bastante reduzido com pesos por unidade da ordem de 1 g/m^ 2^ apresenta espaços intermediários até a faixa dos nanómetros e é termoestável em temperaturas acima dos 180<198>C. Consiste de fibras (4) que são obtidas a partir de polímeros por meio de carregamento eletrostático e apresentam diâmetros na faixa dos nanómetros. A fim de efetuar a ligação cruzada individual destas fibras (40) entre si ou com a camada de material (20), tornando-as assim insolúveis em água, e estáveis tanto química quanto termicamente, são utilizadas diversas resinas, como por exemplo resinas de melamina. A fim de prover proteção e estabilidade, o meio de filtragem (10) pode ser suplementado por camadas de suporte e/ou cobertura.
