Abstract

"MECANISMO PARA AJUSTE DE FOLGA DE VáLVULA". A invenção refere-se a um mecanismo para ajuste de folga de válvula para uso em pequenos motores de combustão interna tal como, por exemplo, motores de válvula lateral e motores de válvula elevada, que geralmente incluem válvulas de entrada e exaustão acionadas por levantadores pivotavelmente montados dentro do alojamento do motor, que por sua vez são acionados por ressaltos de came acionados em rotação regulada com o eixo de manivela. Um elemento de ajuste é provido para montar cada levantador para um eixo, em que o elemento de ajuste é excêntrico com relação ao eixo, de modo que a rotação do elemento de ajuste modifique a posição do levantador e por sua vez modifique a folga de válvula entre o elevador e a válvula. Depois que a folga de válvula foi propriamente ajustada, o elemento de ajuste é fixado em posição.
