Abstract

"SìLICAS COM BAIXA RECUPERAçãO EM áGUA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de preparação de sílica de precipitação com baixa recuperação em água, compreendendo as etapas sucessivas que consistem em: (a) realizar uma base de cuba inicial, compreendendo um silicato, a concentração em silicato nessa base de cuba, expressa em equivalente SiO~ 2~ sendo inferior a 15 g/L; (b) levar o pH do meio até um valor compreendido entre 7 e 8,por adição de um agente acidificante; (c) no meio assim realizado, efetuar a adição simultânea de um silicato e de um agente acidificante, as quantidades respectivas de silicato e de agente acidificante acrescentadas no decorrer do tempo sendo especificamente escolhidas, de forma que, durante o período da adição: - pH do meio reacional permanece compreendido entre 7 e 8; e - a concentração em silício no meio, expressa em equivalente SiO~ 2~ permanece inferior ou igual a 35 g/L; (d) acrescentar um agente acidificante ao meio obtido no final da etapa (c) de forma a levar o meio a um pH compreendido entre 3 e 6,5; e (e) filtrar a dispersão aquosa de sílica obtida, depois secar o bolo de filtragem realizado no final da filtragem. A invenção refere-se também às sílicas com baixa recuperação em água obtidas segundo esse processo e sua utilização, notadamente para o reforço de silicones ou de matrizes de polímeros ou elastómeros.
