Trata-se de um método e um aparelho para produzir, de maneira económica, pó de metal de alta pureza e que apresenta conformação e tamanho de partícula uniforme. é produzido o pó de metal de titânio, etc., por meio de um aparelho que compreende um fornecimento de energia para descarga de alta voltagem/corrente, um alimentador de eletrodo de metal de metal de titânio, etc., um gerador de descarga de alta voltagem equipado com um eletrodo de metal feito de titânio, etc., e seu contra-eletrodo, um tanque de água, uma entrada para água, uma saída para a solução de dispersão de metal produzida que contém metal de titânio, etc., uma bomba de descarga e um dispositivo acessório para separar/recuperar o pó de metal do metal de titânio, etc., da solução de dispersão de metal que contém metal de titânio, etc.
