Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA A REMEDIAçãO DE SOLO CONTAMINADO COM MERCúRIO, E, MéTODOS PARA A DETERMINAçãO DE UMA EXTENSãO DE SOLO CONTAMINADO COM MERCúRIO E PARA A FORMAçãO DE UM SISTEMA DE REMEDIAçãO DE SOLO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE SOLO CONTAMINADO COM MERCúRIO". Um sistema de remediação de solo in situ pode ser usado para remover ou reduzir os níveis de contaminação de mercúrio dentro do solo. O sistema de remediação de solo também pode remover ou reduzir os níveis de outros contaminantes dentro do solo. O mercúrio pode ser vaporizado dentro do solo por um sistema de aquecimento. O mercúrio vaporizado pode ser removido do solo por um sistema de vácuo. O mercúrio vaporizado pode passar através de tubos ascendentes aquecidos que elevam o mercúrio vaporizado. Após o mercúrio vaporizado passar nos tubos ascendentes aquecidos, o mercúrio vaporizado pode ser permitido resfriar, condensar, e fluir descendentemente para uma estação de tratamento.
