Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSAMENTO DE MILHO". Um método de escala comercial para processar grão de milho inclui as etapas de floculação de grão de milho tendo um conteúdo total de óleo de pelo menos cerca de 8% e extração de um óleo de milho do grão de milho floculado. Um tal método pode ser efetuado processando-se o grão de milho de óleo elevado, empregando-se métodos e equipamento tipicamente empregado para processar soja e outros tipos de semente oleosa similares. Deste modo, o processamento de plantas que flocula as sementes oleosas pode ser empregado para extrair óleo de milho.
