Abstract

"USO DE EXTRATOS E PREPARAçõES A PARTIR DE IRIDáCEAS E TECTORIGENIN COMO UM MEDICAMENTO ORGANOSELETIVO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE DESORDENS RELACIONADAS AO HORMÈNIO SEXUAL NO TRATO UROGENITAL". A presente invenção se refere a extratos de plantas de iridáceas Belamcanda chinensis para produzir um medicamento para formulação final para o tratamento seletivo e/ou a profilaxia de desordens relacionadas ao hormónio sexual no trato urogenital. Os extratos inventivos são ainda mais adequados para o tratamento e/ou profilaxia de infecções da bexiga pós-menopausa e de incontinência urinária. Os extratos são ainda mais indicados para o tratamento de hiperplasia benigna ou maligna da próstada. Foi ainda descoberto que o ingrediente tectorigenin, bem como seus glicosideos, isolados da Belamcanda chinensis, possui essencialmente os mesmos efeitos que o extrato total.
