Abstract
"PROCESSO DE TRATAMENTO TéRMICO PARA RESTAURAR AS PROPRIEDADES DE UM ARTIGO DE MOTOR DE AERONAVE". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de tratamento que restaura as propriedades mecânicas de um artigo de motor de aeronave, que inclui uma parte de Inconel 718 fundida soldada a uma parte trabalhada. O processo de tratamento térmico inclui colocar um artigo que inclui a porção de Inconel 718 fundido em uma câmara de tratamento térmico (10), evacuar a câmara a uma atmosfera adequada, aquecer (16) a câmara de uma maneira que minimize distorções da parte fundida a uma temperatura na faixa de 1065,5<198>C a 1121,1<198>C (1950<198>F a cerca de 2050<198>F), manter a temperatura naquela faixa por um período de tempo suficiente para tornar solução todos os precipitados de fase delta (18), e, então, o resfriar o artigo à temperatura ambiente (24), de uma maneira que minimize distorções do artigo. Após o tratamento térmico com solução, a parte trabalhada da parte do motor pode ser removida e substituída, e o artigo de motor pode ser reprocessado.
