Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO E MéTODO PARA GRAVAR INFORMAçãO EM PELO MENOS UM VOLUME DE INFORMAçãO EM UMA TRILHA EM UMA áREA GRAVáVEL SOBRE UM PORTADOR DE GRAVAçãO, E, PORTADOR DE GRAVAçãO". é descrito um método e dispositivo para gravar volumes de informação múltipla sobre um portador de gravação usualmente chamado gravação multi sessão. O dispositivo possui meio de controle (20) para gravar e recuperar dados de posição indicativos da posição dos volumes de informação gravados. O meio de controle inclui uma unidade de mapeamento (31) para criar uma zona de mapeamento de sessão. Na zona de mapeamento de sessão, blocos de mapeamento (SEM) são gravados, os quais contém os dados de posição de sessões fechadas, isto é sessões que tenham sido completamente gravadas, em itens de sessão. Adicionalmente, o dispositivo possui uma unidade de detecção (32) para recuperar o bloco de mapeamento de sessão a partir da citada zona de mapeamento de sessão.
