Abstract

"REVESTIMENTO POR VAPORIZAçãO SOBRE FIOS". Trata-se de um processo de revestimento por borrifação que combina uma unidade de borrifação de mistura de óleo com um esguicho de baixa pressão de ar para liberar quantidades mínimas de borrifação ultra-fina de inibidor de corrosão sobre uma superfície do fio durante uma etapa de processamento do fio. Utilizando o esguicho com baixa pressão de ar, o inibidor de corrosão pode ser borrifado em uma pressão menor do que 6,895 Kpa (uma libra por polegada quadrada), impedindo a formação de névoa perdida. Este sistema permite uma liberação clara e precisa dos fluidos inibidores de corrosão junto 1à superfície da corda de aço sem contaminação ambiental.
