A presente invenção refere-se, vantajosamente, um método para fazer e um aparelho para aplicar uma cobertura de chocolate a um confeito para produzir um confeito com uma cobertura com aparência de renda. A cobertura com aparência de renda inclui, preferivelmente, mais do que um tipo de chocolate, uma camada de chocolate de base e uma camada de chocolate com aparência de renda, dando, assim, à cobertura com aparência de renda, uma textura tridimensional.
