Abstract
"FLUXìMETRO DE MASSA GIROSCóPICO". Trata-se de um fluxímetro de massa, com uma primeira modalidade (1500) que usa forças giroscópicas, em vez de forças de Coriolis, para determinar informação de fluxo de material. O interior do tubo de fluxo (400) define um elemento de hélice (300) que imprime um rotação no fluxo de material dentro do tubo de fluxo. As vibrações do tubo de fluxo transversais induzidas e a rotação imposta ao fluxo de material juntas geram forças giroscópicas dentro do tubo de fluxo. A magnitude da deflexão do tubo decorrente das forças giroscópicas está relacionada com a magnitude do fluxo de material e é medida para determinar informação de fluxo de material. Uma segunda modalidade (1600) do fluxímetro funciona ainda para detectar as forças de Coriolis no tubo de fluxo de movimento vibratório, e gera informação de fluxo de material a partir das forças de Coriolis detectadas. A informação de fluxo de material com base em Coriolis e a informação de fluxo de material com base giroscópica são ambas aplicadas ao dispositivo eletrónico de medição associado que usa os dois conjuntos de informação para comparação e checagem de erro e outros propósitos tal como compensação.
