Abstract
"CONJUNTO DE CABOS E MéTODO". Um conjunto de cabos inclui um elemento de cabo e um elemento de envoltório externo disposto em torno do elemento de cabo de fibra ótica em relação deslizante. Em uma modalidade preferida, o elemento de envoltório externo é um artigo trançado, feito a partir de fibras sintéticas de baixo atrito, tal como poliéster, nylon, Teflon, PEEK, ou fluoreto de polivinilideno. O elemento de envoltório externo serve como uma luva que se estende pelo menos o mesmo comprimento que o elemento de cabo. Em uso, o envoltório externo que conduz o elemento de cabo pode ser fixado em uma extremidade em uma corda ou fita de tração que se estende através do comprimento de um conduíte.
