Abstract

"CABEçOTE DE IMPRESSãO A JATO DE TINTA COMPACTO DE ALTA DENSIDADE E ALTO DESEMPENHO". Um cabeçote de impressão a jato de tinta monocromático compacto (150) tendo arranjos escalonados em alta densidade de geradores de gota de tinta (165) para impressão de alto desempenho. A presente invenção provê um design de alto desempenho que possibilita impressão de alta resolução e alta velocidade enquanto reduz custo devido um uso eficiente do espaço do cabeçote de impressão. Em particular, o cabeçote de impressão compacto de alto desempenho (150) da presente invenção inclui vários aspectos eficientes termicamente que permitem que um grande número de geradores de gota de tinta (165) seja colocado sobre um cabeçote de impressão compacto (160) enquanto minimiza problemas tais como amplitudes térmicas. Em uma configuração preferida, a densidade do gerador de gota de tinta no cabeçote de impressão compacto (160) excede 10 geradores de gota de tinta por milímetro quadrado e o cabeçote de impressão compacto (160) contém pelo menos 350 bocais. Os geradores de gota de tinta (165) são arranjados em pelo menos quatro linhas paralelas. Cada linha é deslocada (ou defasada) em relação a uma linha adjacente para prover um afastamento efetivo maior que arranjos não-escalonados. Os geradores de gota de tinta (165) da presente invenção incluem resistores de alta resistência (580) e uma passivação fina (1034, 1036) para aumentar a eficiência termicamente.
