Abstract
"DISPOSITIVO ANALìTICO UNITáRIO DE USO úNICO PARA DETECTAR ENZIMA NUM LìQUIDO E MéTODO PARA ANALISAR A ATIVIDADE DE UMA ENZIMA". Dispositivo analítico unitário de uso único para detectar uma enzima num líquido. O dispositivo compreende uma estrutura de suporte para manipulação manual e uma composição associada com o mesmo que é responsiva à enzima de tal forma a causar uma alteração na aparência do dispositivo. O dispositivo pode ser adaptado para detectar uma enzima de uma pluralidade de classes, tendo composições seletivamente responsivas a uma enzima de uma classe, cada qual respondendo de tal forma a causar uma alteração na aparência do dispositivo indicativa da presença de uma enzima de uma respectiva classe. é também descrito um método para avaliar a atividade de uma enzima num líquido compreendendo as etapas de inserir uma tira de teste da presente invenção no líquido e medir o tempo decorrido desde o momento da inserção até que uma alteração predeterminada na aparência da tira de teste seja observada, ou observar a aparência da tira após um tempo predeterminado.
