Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A FORMAçãO DE CAMADA VìTREA SOBRE SUPERFìCIE REFRATáRIA". Em que um agente vitrificante é projetado por meio de um aparelho contra a mencionada superfície com um gás veículo contendo oxigênio e simultaneamente com um gás combustível, com este último gerando uma chama de combustão, caracterizado pelo fato de que o agente vitrificante compreende partículas de vidro quebrado e a chama gerada fornece, ao menos parcialmente, o calor necessário para formar a camada vítrea sobre a superfície. A camada vítrea formada desta maneira possibilita a prevenção do acúmulo, sobre as paredes refratárias de fornos de alta temperatura, de poeira ou subprodutos provenientes das matérias primas e/ou seus produtos de reação.
