Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA FRAGMENTAR BLOCOS DE MATERIAL". Um aparelho e método para fragmentar um bloco de material, o aparelho inclui pelo menos uma lâmina de corte. Uma unidade de acionamento gira uma lâmina de corte ao redor de um eixo, e uma unidade de alimentação move o bloco de material na direção da lâmina de corte. O eixo geométrico ao redor do qual a lâmina de corte é girada é geralmente perpendicular à direção na qual o bloco de material está sendo alimentado. Em uma modalidade, o bloco de material compreende uma pluralidade de fitas, as fitas sendo empilhadas umas sobre as outras.
