Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHAGEM PARA SOLICITAR INSTANCIAS DE PROTOCOLO PONTO-A-PONTO (PPP - POINT-TO-POINT PROTOCOL) DE UMA REDE DE SERVIçOS DE DADOS DE PACOTE". Um método e aparelhagem para solicitar instancias PPP de uma rede de serviços de dados de pacote que inclui uma estação móvel configurada para enviar uma mensagem originária para um nó de serviços de dados de pacote (PDSN - packet data service node) no qual chegou após deixar a vizinhança de outro PDSN. A mensagem informa o novo PDSN da nova localização da estação móvel e indica tanto o número das instancias PPP dormentes associadas com a estação móvel como um número identificador de referência de serviço para cada instância PPP. Um sinal dentro da mensagem poderá ser utilizado para indicar se as instancias PPP estão dormentes (i.e., se a estação móvel está ocupada com uma chamada).
